The staff was able to fit us in without a reservation. We ordered three dishes, and honestly, they were all incredible. The beer on tap was also fantastic and really hit the spot. Slighty on the pricier side but definitely a great experience and would come back
You might have to wait a bit without a reservation but the hostess does a wonderful job of accommodating guests where she can. A lot of seemingly standard tapas fare, but well prepared and delicious. The patatas bravas were excellent as was the mushroom salad with wasabi dressing- so unique. A delicious tuna salad with thinly sliced smoked tuna was also fantastic. All good and good wine too!
A charming, old place with small rooms that wind their way through the building, creating a special atmosphere. What stands out the most at Bar del Pla is the service. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. We were lucky to walk in as a group of four and be seated immediately. The wine list is extensive and a real pleasure to explore. The tapas selection isn’t huge, but it’s varied and thoughtfully curated. All in all, it was an absolute pleasure to visit this cozy restaurant.
Nice cosy tapas place. Friendly service from the staff who recommended some must try dishes, and they were good! We didn’t have a reservation, but were seated at the bar counter without having to wait.
Beautiful location and area for such a vibrant bar. Food is amazing and always changing you should ask what they have and then be sure you’re eating from the seasonal available products. Beef and sea products would always be my main recommendation for quality and creativity. You can of course find classic tapas to have as a side, croquetas are high quality and constantly changing. Good selection of wine and beautiful interior, service is nice and polite. Give them a call in advance if you’re planning to have dinner since gets really crowded, specially if you go on 3pax or more. Take out stars because it’s quite overpriced on many of the basic dishes and can get really noisy with group of tourists so not suitable for dates or quit dinners.
