Different live music every night and this time we enjoyed a Cuban band! It was so good everyone got up and started dancing. Good vibes from the band and the audience. Will definitely go again to check out more musicians.

Dangerous environment. Zero security. Enter at your own risk!!! The music maybe good, but the safety here is appalling. I was physically attacked/attempted robbed right here. I had to fight back physically to protect myself and my belongings. What's worse than the crime itself is the total inaction from the environment—nobody helps, and the venue seems to tolerate this chaos. I successfully defended myself and lost nothing, but I walked away feeling disgusted by the lawlessness. If you want a safe night out, go somewhere else. This place is a trap for tourists Update after owner's response: You are lying to cover up your negligence. I was NOT "in the street." I was halfway through your door, entering your club. The attack happened literally IN YOUR DOORWAY while I was stepping in. Splitting hairs about whether I was 100% inside or 50% inside shows exactly how morally bankrupt this business is. Instead of apologizing that a customer was attacked while entering your establishment, you argue about geography and threaten legal action. To Future guests: Look at how the owner treats a victim who was attacked in their own doorway. Do you want to support a business like that???

Tucked within the Gothic Quarter, Harlem Jazz Club carries the kind of energy that reminds you why live music still matters. We dropped by for their Tuesday jazz jam session and honestly left pleasantly surprised by both the atmosphere and the musicianship. The place itself is intimate, relaxed, and unpretentious in the best way possible. The staff, especially the lady working the bar that night, brought great warmth and energy to the room. You could feel that this wasn’t just another venue running through motions. There was genuine enthusiasm in how they welcomed people. As the night progressed, the crowd slowly built up and the room came alive. One thing I’d recommend: arrive slightly earlier if you want a proper table because seating is first come, first served. What stood out most was the music. Different musicians rotated in and out throughout the jam, yet somehow the performances never lost cohesion or quality. That’s the beauty of a good jazz session. It becomes less about individual spotlight and more about collective conversation through music. There was diversity in style and expression, but held together by a very high level of musicianship. The vibes throughout the night felt easy, friendly, and authentic. No pretension. Just people gathering around good music and letting the night unfold naturally. If you’re a jazz lover visiting Barcelona and want something that feels alive, human, and rooted in the spirit of live performance rather than polished tourism, Harlem Jazz Club is well worth spending a night at.

It started to rain a lot, me and my girlfriend ran inside this club randomly an to our surprise it was one of the highlights of our visit to Barcelona. Great music, fair prices and the crowd made us feel at home, we were immediately dancing. 100% recommend 👌.

Tucked between the stone alleys of the Gothic Quarter lies a true musical treasure. Harlem blues and jazz club oozes soul — from the dim lighting and vintage decor to the raw, powerful talent on stage. No gimmicks, no fluff — just real music played by seriously skilled musicians who live and breathe the craft.
