Tonight's dinner was definitely amazing! This was our very first time visiting on our honeymoon. Our waiters Telesfono and Jose were very attentive and even helped us celebrate our honeymoon. They are very sweet hosts and the food was extremely amazing and delicious. There are alligators occasionally swimming by which was a very cool thing to see. We highly recommend this restaurant for dinner as the sunset really helped shaped the mood and loved the hospitality. We will definitely will come visit again!

This was an unforgettable dining experience!! The historic structure itself had us in awe! There were so many interesting details from the live lobsters to the decor to the diving artifacts behind glass. I didn’t want to sit down! Our table was along the water with a view of the sunset. Our meal was incredible! We had the grilled seafood platter for two. It was pricey- almost $2300 but worth every peso! The lobster was the best I’ve ever had. My partner devoured the Oysters Rockefeller and the soft shell crab was new to us and amazing! The bread was also so fresh and delicious and they gave us several different sauces to compliment our dinner. To top off the evening was the visit from the enormous resident crocodile!! And we have to mention the exceptional service- at the top of our experiences in Mexico! As we were leaving we noticed the Seahawks game in the bar and asked if we could have one more drink and watch the game. Even though the bar was closed, they completely accommodated us - such a friendly and hospitable staff! Amazing. Highly highly recommend!

Last night in Cancún, and we decided to do it right. Lorenzillo’s felt like stepping into history the moment we walked through those doors. A place with roots reaching back centuries — you can feel it in the wood, the lighting, the atmosphere. Old-world elegance with that coastal breeze moving through it. We started with warm, fresh bread — flaky, buttery, the kind you tear into before you even realize you’re hungry. Then came the oysters, baked and bubbling with herbs and melted cheese, resting on ice like little works of art. Briny, creamy, rich… and balanced. The soft-shell crab arrived perfectly golden and crisp, delicate inside with that satisfying crunch on the outside. Simple garnish, confident execution. No gimmicks. Just flavor. And the seafood pasta? Plump shrimp, tender seafood folded into a vibrant tomato sauce that clung to every ribbon of pasta. Bright, savory, comforting. The kind of dish that makes conversation pause for a moment. It wasn’t just a meal. It was a closing chapter done beautifully... candlelight, history, and plates that felt worthy of the occasion. Cancún gave us sun and water all week. Lorenzillo’s gave us a finale. 🤌🏾

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Cancun. I have traveled all over the world and have had unique and incredible services, yet this restaurant ranks way at the top. Our waiters Alfredo and Alonzo, and their manager Caesar, deserve 5+ stars throughout. When you go to a professional high-end restaurant, normally the service or the quality food doesn't always live up to the price. This restaurant, is truly 100% on it on all facets. It made my dining experience one that I will remember and appreciate for many years to come. If you're in Cancun, this place is a true must visit. Reservations maybe necessary during certain times of the year.

The food was fascistic and the service was very attentive. This was almost a 5-star experience until the very end, when the manager wouldn't listen to us and gave the wrong hotel to the taxi driver, sending us over 10 km past where we needed to go and leaving us fearing for our safety and being grossly overcharged for the ride home, spoiling what otherwise would have been a lovely evening.
