Visited Fabric for the Field Day afterparty. Credit where it’s due: security and organisation were excellent. Multiple ID checks, scanning, searches and lots of visible staff made the venue feel safe and professionally managed throughout the night. That said, the overall experience didn’t really connect with me. The music felt extremely repetitive for long stretches, with very slow progression and little variation. I understand that’s part of the appeal for dedicated house and techno fans, but personally I often felt like I was listening to slightly altered versions of the same track for hours. I actually found it difficult to properly dance to at times. The venue itself has the dark industrial atmosphere it’s known for, although upstairs still has a noticeable stale/mechanical smell which some people may find off-putting. The stickers placed over phone cameras also felt slightly controlling, even if the intention is clearly to encourage privacy and immersion. Drinks were expensive too — £7.50 for a pint felt steep even by London standards, especially considering the overall experience. I can still understand why Fabric has the reputation it does and plenty of people around me were clearly enjoying themselves, but as someone in my 30s who mostly just drinks and prefers more social or musically varied nights out, I increasingly felt outside the target audience. Overall: safe, iconic and professionally run, but personally I left appreciating the venue’s reputation more than actually enjoying the night itself.

Fabric is one of the best clubs in London. The sound system is phenomenal deep, clean, and powerful without being overwhelming. You can really feel the music, which makes every set unforgettable. The atmosphere is proper underground: diverse crowd, great energy, and people who are genuinely there for the music. The layout with multiple rooms keeps things interesting all night, and the lighting is immersive without being distracting. When the right DJ is on, Fabric delivers a next-level experience that few venues can match. If you love electronic music, especially house, techno, or deeper sounds, Fabric is a must. Amazing place, really good venue, STAFF is one of the best I seen in night clubs. sound system is just on point. It got little bit too crowded at one point, but expected. THE ONLY thing for me was drinks, didnt seem like there was much alchohol in them.
