The food was superb, presentation was lovely, and service was very attentive. The only feedback I'd give is to please explain the food more loudly and clearly add I struggled to hear or understand it all. Thank you for fitting us in at short notice. Also for understanding that we were a group of 3, celebrating my husband's and my 30th wedding anniversary, but only 2 could eat due to my medical issues.
My partner and I visited Gauthier Soho to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and we had a truly fantastic evening! The food and drinks were simply incredible. Creative, surprising, and carefully crafted. So delicious! We had a blast with every bite. The staff were very kind and attentive. The sommelier, David, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly — his passion for the drinks truly shone through. Both the alcoholic pairings he selected and the nonalcoholic beverages he creatively crafted were absolute highlights for us. We felt very welcomed - and David made sure our evening felt even more special! We also love the philosophy of the chef and the restaurant: creating absolutely delicious, innovative and seasonal meals without using animals. It’s inspiring and makes the whole experience even more meaningful for us. We cannot wait to be back and try another one of Gauthier’s fantastic menus. We recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly!
The love and dedication that goes in each of the dishes is truly amazing. We loved each one of them! My husband didn't believe me, when I told him that the dishes were all created without using animal products. ;) The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly (I had made a mix up with the dates and they were so kind, making it possible that we were still able enjoy this incredible dinner experience). Thank you & we hope to be back soon!
Absolutely incredible. Was nice to slow down and enjoy the tasting menu. Friendly and unrushed service. Lovely atmosphere, had our own private space. The birthday cake we ordered was delicious. Felt like home from home, nice lighting & ambience. A great example of fine vegan dining.
We booked the Spring Menu 'Grand Dîner' to celebrate my birthday and the food was excellent. The 9-course tasting menu is designed to be enjoyed over around three hours, and each course was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. Credit to the chefs. A special mention as well to Alexis Gauthier for personally signing the birthday card, which was a really thoughtful touch. I also really appreciate what he stands for, so thank you for that. My partner also opted for the birthday cake, which is an absolute must-try and a lovely addition for a special occasion. Unfortunately, we did experience a service issue on the evening, partly due to circumstances out of their control. Following our visit, Alexis personally reached out, took the time to address our experience, and offered to make things right. This was genuinely appreciated and speaks highly of the care and accountability behind the restaurant.
