This place is definitely not overhyped! The laksa was sooooooo good! The teh tarik was good but not as crazy sweet like in Malaysia. Definitely try the roti kaya with coconut Ice cream. It’s super coco nutty!!! Loved it so fresh. Spend £26 or so pounds so around $35 US but it was soooooooo worth it my best meal here! Free water too

super decent Malaysian joint doesn't take reservations to sat there for 20 minutes for table for two around 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday and menu was simple. elegant, had the beef wrendang roti canai and absolute Banger like the curry sauce man. it's like like it had all the aromas and deep flavour and the roti was hot like piping hot and the beef ruin dang was a good addition to it, the curry laksa was a little. was kind of spicy for. I don't know what reason but it's still not pretty decent I would say and the morning glory dish was a good addition to all of the stuff. had hot. good amount given as well and the two drink we had where the teh tarik pulled tea hot super comforting and the lemonade Malaysian which was also really deep and delicious. would recommend would definitely come back. it's pretty genuine authentic experience

Excellent as always. Be prepared to queue, don't worry, it is worth the wait. Food is delicious and prepared with love. Takeaway option is available. I had beef rendang with two roti. Meat was tender and sauce was delicious. Venue is cramped so don't bring excess items. No space to put coat and bags as the seats are stools. You may have to share table with strangers if there is only one or two of you, as some tables are for four. I didn't feel rushed, but the fact that there is a queue outside makes you feel a bit like you have to hurry to finish and leave. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Roti King has great authentic Malaysian cuisine at good prices. Make sure to order the fish and mutton rotis. Both have lots of flavour and they are a must try. The beef rendang is good but it feels a bit average when you compared to the rotis (that’s how good they are). The fried chicken did not have anything outstanding at all other than the spicy sauce that you can dip it in, so I would suggest you skip those and order noodles or something else instead. Very friendly service. The only thing I don’t like about this place is the venue itself. The restaurant is very small and it feels suffocating at times. My ears popped every time someone came in and out the place. The tables are right next to each other and you barely have any space for you or your belongings if you are bringing any. Expect to queue outside for a bit as well to get a table.

If you rindu masakan Malaysia, this is definitely the place. Rendang sedap, kari laksa, oh my days, on top. So flavorful. Just see my bowl, empty licin mat. Teh tarik, pehh kawww. It’s just the place is too small and can be a bit suffocating. But I don’t mind as long as the foods on top. Oh yea, sometimes you need to queue for about 5-15mins, depends on the day because of the small spaces.
