This place is like a speakeasy. It's small but a nice date place or hang out with friends. The jazz band they had the night I was there was awesome! The food is excellent! I ordered the Philly cheeses steak baked potato and it was very good! Definitely will recommend. Service is a bit slow and not so friendly (maybe she's just too busy). The band people were very nice and friendly.
This venue is amazing! The groups and music are always incredible. It's tiny, cozy, and has such an intimate vibe. I even celebrated my birthday there two days ago, and they surprised me with a candle cake and a jazzy "Happy Birthday" from the stage. It was truly heartwarming, and I'll remember it forever. Thank you to everyone! 😇🫠🫠😊
The Baked Potato was one of the best things we did on our trip to LA! Just over the hill in Studio City, this cozy and intimate spot was the real deal. We sat about 4 ft from the band, they interacted with the crowd all night, the place was packed (on a Monday night!) and their odd menu of various types of baked stuffed potato was unique and well-executed. Our server was awesome, the sound was just full enough to be immersive without being annoying, the band was crisp, and the crowd was into it. If you have not stepped into an authentic, super intimate jazz club, do yourself a favor - get baked yourself and go. Ticket prices are super reasonable for the value (fair warning - 2 drink minimum, but the bartender does a great job). I highly recommend The Baked Potato.
WOW! Mike Garson!! What a show! Cocktails were excellent, baked potatoes so yummy, staff very nice. Split a potato, they’re huge. We went to the 8:00 show, arrived about 7:20, still some very good seating. Loved that Mike featured some young musicians.
the potatoes are HUGE …. You can split one they’ll put them on two plates even. Good music and a man gave us 20 dollars because it was our anniversary …. Can’t ask for more…. The one downside is that they don’t send a confirmation email when you buy tickets!!! But they still have your name on a list so it’s fine
