An open-air street setup in a tire shop parking lot, serving some of the best Tijuana-style carne asada in the city.

Signature
The vampiro, a toasted tortilla topped with melted cheese, carne asada, and guacamole.

Tortillas are handmade after you order, the folks handling orders are kind and warm while being very efficient. Meats are well-seasoned; I like the chicken most, chorizo second. There's a decently sized seating area so you can enjoy the freshly made food immediately on-site. Legitimately one of the best, though they're quite well known now and prices seem to have risen a bit.

Definitely returning for the tacos whenever I'm in the area. Got the chorizo, chicken, and carne asada. All were an absolute hit. They did need more of a punch like some lime juice or vinegar-based hot sauce to elevate the flavors, but wow the tortilla, which they make right in front of you fresh, and the meats are awesome. Highly recommend all three meats. Ordering was easy and fast. They take card and cash. For three tacos, I paid $8.50 out the door. Covered seating right next to the prep area. Parking is street parking, so may be tricky to find, but I got a spot just around the corner in no time. Coming back to try more of their menu items!

The tacos here are absolutely delicious, especially when paired with their flavorful guacamole and salsas. The prices are very affordable, and I love that they customize everything right in front of you, ensuring the ingredients are fresh. The place does get very crowded, but it's definitely worth trying. Since this shop is located in the Carniceria Market, you can explore other food options in the night market as well. Just a heads-up, this shop is only open in the evenings.

My favorite Tijuana style tacos out of all of LA! Savory and smoked coal-grilled meat wrapped in fresh hand-made tortillas. The line can get long sometimes but these authentic tacos are worth the wait!
