Casadonna in Miami’s Edgewater is the kind of place that makes an impression before you even sit down. Set right on the waterfront, the restaurant leans heavily into its coastal Italian identity, blending Mediterranean elegance with Miami’s high-energy dining scene. The décor is polished and airy—think warm tones, natural textures, and an indoor-outdoor flow that works especially well at sunset. The menu focuses on Italian cuisine with a seafood-forward approach. Dishes like crudo, handmade pastas, and grilled fish are clearly designed to highlight fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors are generally clean and well-balanced, though some plates feel more about presentation than depth. Still, when it hits, it hits—especially with simpler preparations that let the ingredients shine. Service can be a mixed bag. On a good night, it’s attentive and knowledgeable, with staff offering thoughtful recommendations. On busier evenings, however, things can feel rushed or slightly disorganized, which takes away from the otherwise upscale experience. The crowd and atmosphere lean trendy, with a lively, almost lounge-like vibe as the evening progresses. It’s definitely more of a “scene” restaurant than a quiet dinner spot, so expectations should be set accordingly. Overall, Casadonna delivers a visually stunning, stylish dining experience with strong Italian influences and standout waterfront views. While it may not be the most consistent spot in terms of service or culinary execution, it’s worth visiting for the ambiance alone—especially if you’re in the mood for a vibrant night out in Miami.

We have to start with how beautiful the location is! The food was really good, even though the highlight was the desserts! 100% recommend having the affogato one. Alejandro was such a great help, it was our first time visiting and he explained everything with such care and intention! Thank you Alejandro! 💗

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Casadonna delivers what Miami Italian dining promises but rarely achieves: authentic flavors in a setting that actually matches the price tag. THE SPACE High ceilings, intentional minimalism, and that waterfront view. The design breathes — no cramped tables or noise bouncing off hard surfaces. You feel the space, not just sit in it. Sunset seating is non-negotiable if you want the full experience. THE FOOD Menu reads classic Italian but execution is precise. Seafood risotto — properly cooked, not the usual mush. Homemade tiramisu — light, not cloying. These are details that separate a real kitchen from a decorated room. THE SERVICE The sommelier didn't just recommend wine; he explained why the pairing worked with what I ordered. Staff was genuinely warm, not that performative "fine dining" friendliness you get tired of after your third course. WORTH KNOWING Book ahead. Weekend walk-ins don't happen here. And ask for the waterfront side — the other tables miss the point. #MiamiDining #ItalianRestaurant #MiamiBeach #FineDining #Casadonna #WaterfrontDining #MiamiFoodie #LuxuryDining #OceanView #MiamiEats #GourmetMiami #SouthBeachDining #ItalianCuisine #MiamiNightlife #BestTiramisuMiami

I hosted my birthday brunch at Casadonna with a group of 12, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. The ambience strikes that rare balance between polished and relaxed so beautifully designed, energetic, and perfect for a celebration without feeling overwhelming. The food was excellent across the board. The menu offers a wide range of options, so everyone at the table found something they genuinely loved. What really stood out was the service. Managing a table of 12 is no small task, yet the staff handled it with ease being attentive, professional, and warm without being intrusive. We never felt rushed, and everything flowed naturally, which made the entire experience feel effortless. Casadonna turned my birthday brunch into a truly memorable afternoon. It’s the kind of place that gets the details right, and it shows. I’ll absolutely be back 🥂💕

My first experience here has been perfect. Shoutout to our server Pom for making it such a great experience! Brunch is on the pricier side but their food variety and quality is well worth it. They also have drink package options to best fit your preferences + price range.
