Review for Takeaway part of the restaurant. Main part had 2 hour wait so we just went next door to the more casual part of the restaurant where you can get things to go or to dine in. Everything we tried was very good. Crab bisque was my favorite along with the seafood salad. The salad was huge, perfect entree size. We also shared baked tomato and potato latzke. You order at the register and everything is brought to your table. Honestly if you in it for food and not ambiance this is even better and faster than main restaurant.

Amazing experience! This has been our first time visiting Joes stone crab and the experience was phenomenal. Outdoor seating is very cozy, like you are tucked away in some old town square. Our waiter was amazing, didn’t catch his name but he was very nice and attentive. And the crabs of course were really good. The large claws come with 5 per portion, and including the sides that you get is more than enough for a full meal. The key lime pie for the desert was a perfect finally. Will definitely be back!

This place is a gem of South Miami - what a treat! The dining room was classy, white tablecloths, orchids, dim lighting. Our waiter took impeccable care of us, explaining the history of the restaurant (which is over 100 years old!), tying on our bibs, and teaching us the proper way to eat the delicious local Stone Crabs they serve. Although it was a vastly different crab experience than I'm used to, the chilled hard-shell crab with its signature mustard sauce will forever remain in my fondest memories of Miami. We had the Stuffies as an appetizer, baked stuffed clams, which were to-die-for. The tender clam meat with savory bread crumb topping blew our minds. We also chose the Hashed Brown Potatoes, Spinach, and Sautéed Corn for our sides, and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. And for dessert we had their famous Key Lime Pie, and holy smokes was it the most incredible slice of key lime pie I've ever had!!!

Joe’s Stone Crab is an iconic dining experience in Miami Beach and absolutely lives up to its reputation. Known for its massive stone crab claws, the restaurant delivers seafood that is fresh, sweet, and incredibly satisfying. What makes the experience even more special is the sustainability behind it. Only one claw is harvested from each Florida stone crab before it is released back into the ocean, allowing it to regenerate naturally. It is rare to see seafood handled in such a responsible and thoughtful way, and it adds an extra layer of appreciation to every bite. The crab meat itself was firm, juicy, and naturally sweet, requiring very little to enhance its flavour. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing, making it ideal for groups or families. The overall meal felt indulgent without being overly heavy. The restaurant has a lively and classic atmosphere, with efficient service despite the constant crowd. It feels like a place with history and character, rather than just another tourist spot. If you are in Miami, Joe’s Stone Crab is a must-visit. Fresh, seasonal, and uniquely Floridian, it is an experience that goes beyond just great food.

Joe’s Stone Crab absolutely lived up to the hype. From the second we sat down, the energy felt iconic old school Miami in the best possible way. The stone crab claws were insanely fresh, the creamed spinach was rich and decadent, the hash browns were perfectly crispy, and those mussels with the garlic bread? Criminally good. Every single thing that hit the table was a moment. But the real standout was Natika. Attentive without hovering, hilarious, sharp, and somehow always appearing exactly when we needed something. She made the experience feel personal and elevated instead of just another famous restaurant stop. Service like that is rare. You can tell why this place has been around forever. It’s not trendy for TikTok, it’s legendary because it consistently delivers. The kind of dinner where halfway through you already know you’ll be talking about it for weeks after. Miami has a lot of flashy spots, but Joe’s reminds everyone why classics never go out of style. Full stomachs, butter everywhere, bibs on, cocktails flowing, zero regrets. LFGGGGG.
