Visited Attaboy while I was in New York as it was on the World’s Best Bars list, and it did not disappoint!! We waited a bit under half an hour to get in. The bar is really small, so definitely better for smaller groups. Cocktails are made especially for you, based on your likes and dislikes, and they were all amazing! They were perfectly suited to us based on our personal tastes, and they were some of the nicest cocktails we’ve ever had. The service was great, our bartender was very friendly and helpful, and our drinks didn’t take long to be made. Highly recommend paying Attaboy a visit, and I’ll definitely be going back the next time I’m in New York! 😍

Cool concept. Very nice space. Most of the drinks were pretty standard however. They also didn’t have any more funky type ingredients. That said - one of the 5 cocktails we got was an absolute knockout. Japanese whiskey base with elderflower liqueur was the primary body & forget the other parts but jesus was that good. The other underwhelming drinks makes this a 4* though. Service was great. Standing seating was available right away, sitting down was going to be 1 hour. Music was a bit loud to talk easily tbh.

I went to Attaboy for cocktails and had a great experience. The atmosphere is dark, moody, and beautifully designed — intimate and stylish at the same time. The space is a bit narrow, but it actually adds to the charm rather than taking away from it. The drinks were excellent. What I really appreciated is how personalized the cocktails are — you can genuinely order based on your preferences, and the bartenders know exactly how to translate that into a well-balanced drink. It feels thoughtful and intentional, not generic at all. Service was friendly and professional, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. A great spot for anyone who appreciates craft cocktails and a well-curated vibe.

No cocktail menu, just let them know what cocktails you like and they will provide you with a customized drink for you. 1st cocktail is the Penicillin, that was invented in this bar, 2nd cocktail is Mezcal, Faretti, Branca Menta, and 3rd cocktail is Redbreast 12, Carpano Antica, and orange bitters. They know what they are doing, trust them, and enjoy how these cocktails chefs 👨‍🍳 take care of you 🙂

Small space, dim lighting, light social buzz - what else would you want at a speakeasy? And as for my story, I had made a two person reservation but when we got there we were told to wait outside in line. After about 10 minutes we were brought in to standing room all the way in the back by the bathrooms. Initially, it didn’t matter we were just thrilled to be in. Our first waiter /bartender approached us asking what kind of drink we were in the mood for. I requested a mezcal base with a savory profile and my friend wanted gin and citrusy flavors. We were a little disappointed with this interaction as we expected a bit more guidance to describe our taste. Ultimately we had no choice but to put faith in the system and the drinks did come out great. Mine was a Jaguar Nap with a twist which fit exactly what I was going for. After an hour we had finished our drinks and were still waiting in the back to get a bar seat. The waiter had kept saying the next seat was ours and we really wanted to stay for one more round. Thankfully, we eventually got moved to the bar and ordered another round. Our second bartender was more helpful with prompting us which we greatly appreciated. My drink was mezcal version of a Moscow mule with a fun ginger candy and my friend got a purple gin drink with a smooth creamy texture. Both very tasty! Long story short, we had a really great time here and are fans of the surprise drinks to shake things up, haha
