Le Bain has been one of my favorite spots in the city for a night of dancing! If you love EDM and trance, the music here is usually fantastic on weekends! BUT, that said, the experience at the door can be quite frustrating. The security staff are mostly rude and dismissive, and getting in without knowing the RSVP or ticket system can be tricky for new people. It’s anyway a chance given how unpredictable the people at the door can be. At times, they simply deny entry! No reasons mentioned. There were a few times when the attitudes at the entrance ruined my mood before the night even began! Although once you are inside, the energy is great and the crowd is fun! The rooftop area is good too! What I love though is the concept of a small plunge pool that’s open through the summers where people can actually take a dip! And the city and river views take the experience a notch higher. The drinks are a bit pricy! But, I maintain, once you are past the door, the music and atmosphere usually make it worth it.
Ok, it really depends on the crowd! If there’s too many straight people, it’s weird. But if you come to a queer night, it’s a perfect place to dance and make friends. Like, sometimes you got men staring at two queer women like it’s a theater like no… can we all dance? Just look at their insta to see the vibe of the night. The drinks are not that strong and they’re like $18-$20 each. But u can smoke outside n gr8 view
Absolutely horrible experience at Le Bain. The people at the door were beyond rude and completely unprofessional. We accidentally walked up to the wrong entrance and instead of simply directing us, they started cursing at us and telling us to “go all the way around” in the most disrespectful tone possible. To make it worse, they were letting other people go in front of us even though we had tickets. There was no organization, no courtesy, just attitude. One of them even said “welcome to New York” as if that excuses treating people terribly. The irony? We were literally born and raised here. Having tickets clearly means nothing if the staff at the door treats guests like that. The energy before you even step inside completely ruined the night. There’s no reason for that level of hostility toward paying customers. Would not recommend based on how we were treated at the entrance alone. I attached pics of them.
I went to this rooftop for a night out dancing, and it was absolutely beautiful. The view was spectacular, as well as the atmosphere and the drinks were really good. A perfect spot to enjoy the city from above.
Lovely terrace to watch the sunset! After a few drinks you can come down yo the club area and enjoy the live dj music while you’re on the dance floor. The club has a pool inside so it’s kinda eccentric but unique about its atmosphere. The view from the terrace it’s amazing! Definitely a summer must visit spot!
