Tried Super Taste in Chinatown and honestly, really solid spot. Got a mix of dumplings — Sichuan style were probably the best, super flavorful with a nice kick. Chicken dumplings and chicken soup dumplings were also very good, juicy and fresh. The only thing that didn’t really hit for me was the pork & chives kind of flat compared to the rest. Prices are actually really good for NYC, especially for what you get. We went as a group of 4, ordered a bunch of stuff, and everyone left full. Food came out fast too, which is always a plus when the place is busy. Nothing fancy, but that’s not the point here just good, honest food. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
Had just visited the Museum On Eldridge and was looking for a quick bite. We had the soup with vermicelli noodles- one chicken and one beef. It was excellent, although hard to eat since we don’t use chopsticks and the noodles wouldn’t stay on the spoon. Waited a little too long to ask for a fork (which they did have). Good value and quick service. Seating is limited. No restrooms and $12 minimum on credit card payment.
My favorite meal in NY so far. I love Chinatown and the Fried Pork & Chive Dumplings are 10/10! The Sichuan Style dumplings are also very good 8.5/10. $13
This spot has definitely gone viral for all the right reasons. I came by after hearing about it from a colleague, and the pork bao bun was absolutely amazing — it literally melted in my mouth. Just a heads-up: they do include crushed peanuts, so be careful if you have allergies! We also got the beef dumplings, and we highly recommend eating them with the sauce because it really enhances the flavor. Between both plates, we left with our tummies full and completely satisfied. Totally worth the hype. 🔥🥟😋🍽️⚠️🥜
Chicken dumplings were amazing!! Delicious, moist and full of flavor. Veggie dumplings a bit too dry and Taiwanese pork rice was very good! Deft will be back soon
