Mind-Blowing Seafood Ramen in Paris – An Unforgettable Dining Experience! Kodawari Ramen (Tsukiji) is hands-down one of the most unique and delicious places to eat in Paris. The restaurant is meticulously designed to replicate the historic Tokyo fish market, down to the incredible soundscape, visual details, and glowing lanterns. It is an absolute feast for both the eyes and the palate. Unlike traditional noodle shops that focus solely on pork, their specialty here is fish-based ramen broths. The Sea Bream Paitan (Dorade) is velvety and packed with rich umami flavor, and the artisanal, house-made noodles crafted from their own French wheat have the perfect chewy texture. Every ingredient feels intentional and incredibly fresh. A massive shoutout to our server, Nikolas, who made our evening even better. Nikolas provided stellar service, he was friendly, fast, and highly knowledgeable about the unique menu offerings. Exceptional hospitality makes a huge difference, especially in a busy, high-energy spot like this. If you love authentic Japanese cuisine and want a true taste of Tokyo near the Palais Royal, do not pass this place up. Incredible food, vibrant atmosphere, and five-star customer service from Nikolas!
I’ve been to this place twice, so I can confidently share my opinion. There are only one no-meat-ramen. Even the fish options are made with meat broth, so I could only try the mushroom ramen and some appetizers The atmosphere is unique! However, the food and service were very disappointing. Despite arriving on time, I waited 30 minutes outside while others with later reservations were seated first. It felt unfair, as larger groups seemed to be prioritized The ramen was lukewarm, the mushrooms were cold, and the broth was overly dark. Prices are average for Paris, but the experience wasn’t worth waiting two hours in the online queue plus another 30 minutes outside. I wouldn’t recommend it.
An exceptional spot in Paris — probably the best ramen I’ve ever had in my life. The fact that we waited an hour and a half to get in didn’t bother us at all, because the reward of tasting that menu was absolutely worth it. I recommend it without hesitation. If I lived in Paris, I’d be there every week. A unique place with a distinctive concept and décor. The food is simply unforgettable. It’s worth the wait — just make sure to scan the QR code at the entrance to join the waiting list before getting in line.
Had a late dinner around 10pm on a Sunday and there were only a few parties ahead of us. We saw a massive line outside here all of Saturday and can see why. The ramen was delicious and the broth was exceptional. We had the sea bream ramen and the original and both had a very nice fishy flavour to it. The sea bream was a bit more intense. Highly recommend!
I wouldn't normally order fish ramen, but I gave it a try and it was better than I expected. The broth is flavorful but not overpowering. The atmosphere is unique. A 100% recommended experience!
