On a recent trip to Paris me and a couple friends reserved Little Red Door’s tasting menu. We arrived on time and were warmly welcomed and shown our seats at the bar. What happened from there was a wonderful 2+ hour experience. All of the bartenders were incredible; our main bartender was from Sweden, another was from Berlin and the third was from Paris. All three have been in the industry for years and were personally selected to join LRD. They also spoke about the Lab and how the bar develops their drinks. It takes months of trials and tests and shows in the drinks they bring to the bar. The tasting menu was extensive and thoughtfully presented (see pictures). By the end of the menu we felt like we had been welcomed as family. I would absolutely go back and more, if I lived in Paris, it would be my home bar. Everyone should try the tasting menu or if that isn’t your style, just go in for a drink.
Great atmosphere and interesting drinks. I like their concept and also the guarantee that you would enjoy the drink. After the first sip, uou can choose a different cocktail if you did not like your order.
ittle Red Door is one of those Paris institutions that fully deserves its reputation. I waited about 20 minutes outside to get in, but once inside I found a cozy, intimate bar that consistently ranks among the Top 50 bars in the world and top 5 in Paris. As it happened to be Negroni Week, I asked Cameron, the charming bartender, to surprise me with her take on the classic Negroni. What I got was a fresh, light, beautifully balanced cocktail with subtle hints of strawberry. It was absolutely delicious. The real surprise came when Cameron explained the ingredients and none of the three classic Negroni components (gin, Campari, or sweet vermouth) were in it. Yet it captured the spirit of the Negroni perfectly. I then moved on to a second drink, Aquaponie, from their new Agri-Culture menu. A mix of basil, lemon & sweet clover, St-Germain, and Grey Goose vodka, it was refreshing, aromatic, and wonderfully creative. Little Red Door is truly a must-visit for cocktail lovers in Paris, i.e. innovative, welcoming, and unforgettable. P.S. Hopefully Cameron remembers me next time I’m back because I’ll be counting on her to mix me that unforgettable Negroni with a twist… and maybe add one more surprise.
The ambiance, the drinks, the bartenders - all 10/10. The history behind the menu is awesome. Drinks were phenomenal. I got the Urbaine, Resilience, Aquaculture, Agroforester and the Aquaculture stole the show! Fantastic place and cozy!
If you are looking for a real cocktail experience you must stop by at. They know what they are do. My Family and I will keep this place for ever in our memories. Each cocktail was a totally different experience, and I really mean it. Although, nothing compare to how kindness the staffs are. One of the nicest place I’ve ever been in Paris. We’ll be back for sureeeeee
