I’d give this hotel 10 stars if I could!! We loved our 3 night stay with our teen kids. The hotel and neighbor are both charming, however the staff is what makes this hotel the place to stay! They respond to your emails the same day, will schedule ALL your transfers from airport to port back to airport. They even arranged a golf cart tour for us-with the best tour guide we had our entire trip. And even scheduled our dinner reservations when I couldn’t get a hold of them myself. Everyone who works at the front desk was amazing! The staff at the restaurant were also fantastic and we had coffee and breakfast there every morning-the chocolate croissants and fruit was perfect. Our rooms and bathrooms (although small in American eyes) were perfect. We got two rooms next to each other (a queen room and a junior suite) and that was the perfect space for our family of 4. Hotel Nerva has an excellent, walkable location. And very quiet at night…as most restaurants are a street to two over. I was so worried booking our hotel as this was our first time in Rome and I had no idea which neighborhoods were good, but after reading the reviews and now after our visit…Nerva Boutique Hotel in Monti, steps away from Ancient Rome is the BEST place to stay!!
Our stay at Nerva Boutique Hotel was truly special. Beyond the excellent location, the comfort of the rooms, the cleanliness and the lovely breakfast, what really made the difference for us was the people. Every single member of the team was kind, attentive and genuinely warm. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed not just as guests, but almost as part of the family. It is rare to find a place where attention to detail and human warmth come together so naturally. They made our anniversary trip to Rome even more memorable, and that is something we will always treasure. Grazie di cuore to the whole team.
Nerva Boutique Hotel felt like a home away from home in Rome! The room was cozy and stylish and the attention to detail was above and beyond! I happened to stay there during Valentine’s Day, and there was a box of chocolates and a book about Rome waiting for me. (The chocolates were delicious!) The staff were also attentive to any questions I had. The hotel’s location was perfect for what I wanted to do in Rome; it is close to the Colosseum and it takes two minutes to walk to the Roman Forum. It is also close to many incredible boutiques and restaurants in the up and coming Monti neighborhood. I could tell that the owners put a lot of love and care into the hotel and I will definitely be reserving a room here the next time I am in Rome.
Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Nerva in Rome! The location is unbeatable—so close to all the main attractions and museums, which made exploring the city super easy. The food and drinks were amazing, especially the whole wheat pancakes with berries and bananas… chef’s kiss. 🥞🍓 On Saturdays, the jazz music was such a vibe and made the whole place feel extra special and cozy. The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, which really made the stay memorable. I genuinely loved this hotel and would 100% stay here again. 10 out of 10—definitely recommend!
The staff and location are fantastic! The rooms & bathrooms are small, but it’s Rome, so that’s to be expected. I loved the view from my room, the free tote bag and water bottle, snacks, and big TV for relaxing after a day of touring the city, and the super helpful staff. The only downside was lack of sound-proofing between rooms, but it was nothing a white noise machine couldn’t manage. Also, the bed was super comfortable! I didn’t have time to try the bar or stay for breakfast, but it’s nice having the option on-site.
