Amazing hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were wonderful. I specifically want to shout out Marek at the front desk for his helpful tips and friendliness, and Nalani at concierge. We were always greeted with a smile and everyone here is so sweet. I also wanted to know good places to eat around the area , and Nalani at concierge went above and beyond for me , checking places for reservations and if they were open. She gave amazing local places that had the best food ever! I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: the staff is polite, professional and what you would expect at a 5-star hotel in Tokyo. Lobby is nice. Cons: the suite is NOT at all what I had ever experienced at a 5-star hotel anywhere - especially in Japan. The minimalist “design” makes this room look like a government building and lacks any amenities. It’s depressing actually. I have a corner suite other top floor and was expecting a beautiful, luxurious suite. I’d say the room is 3-star quality. Food: ordered a hamburger from room service. I’d say (see photo) they spent about 3 seconds cooking this meat. The beef and bacon are 100% raw and not edible. I didn’t have the opportunity to say how I wanted it cooked, so they just didn’t cook it? For context, I travel around Asia monthly and have been to Japan, South Korea, China on a biweekly basis, only staying in 5-star hotels, and this room is the only disappointment I’ve experienced in more than 20 business trips in Asia in the last 12 months.

From the very moment you enter the Edition Toranomon with it’s distinctive scent till check-out a perfect experience. The staff is beyond amazing and friendly. The room spacious, clean and the bed super comfortable. Amazing view of the Tokio Tower from the restaurant/bar and the room as well. Breakfast was tasty and the service accommodating.

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Toranomon Edition during our visit to Tokyo. Pros: We felt very safe in and around the hotel, even returning late in the evening. There is a subway entrance nearby which made getting around the city quick and easy. We also found two great restaurants within walking distance - Balcony on 6th Pancake House (amazing!) and Arigataya (Japanese wagyu steak house, best meal of the trip!) The rooms are large and well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. The views are stunning! Every evening we turned off the lights, opened the drapes, and took in the cityscape! Room service for breakfast was prompt and tasty with a good variety of options. Cons: Service was inconsistent. At check-in the front desk manager treated us like royalty, acknowledged our Platinum status, escorted us to our room and showed us around. The next day at the restaurant the snooty hostess acted like we were a problem from the minute we walked up. Thankfully the good outweighed the bad, but improvements should be made. The bathroom has opaque doors on the shower and commode rooms that don’t lock or latch. We didn’t love seeing our reflection in the glass door as we used the toilet. The tub is too small to truly relax in, and the tub walls were high enough that getting in and out was a challenge (I’m 5’3”). If you’re traveling with a friend or business traveler just know you can see through the opaque doors. Overall a good experience.

We stayed at The Tokyo Edition for our recent trip to Tokyo and loved every moment. The hotel itself is stunning with it's architecture and layout. It's calm and has beautifully designed spaces with amazing views over the city, the harbor, and a mesmerizing view Tokyo Tower that is unbeatable. Whilst the space was incredible, what really stood out was the team. We've stayed in many luxury hotels but nothing has come close to our experience at The Edition. From arrival to departure, every single interaction felt warm, authentic, and genuine. Staff were incredibly attentive without being intrusive and helped with everything from local recommendations, bookings, to small details during our time there that made our stay feel truly special. We left feeling refreshed, very well looked after, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming and all bases covered stay in Tokyo.
